MISTI is MIT's flagship international education program. It places students in fully-funded internships and research opportunities all over the globe. Like all things MIT, this is not your typical program, and students are not going abroad to have pizza in the piazza. Rather, MISTI harnesses an holistic approach to their programs by prepping students with rigorous language and cultural skills before being approved to travel and work in their selected field.
MISTI's website needed to raise brand awareness and to deliver complex program information to the MIT community. Simultaneously, it needed to serve the needs of twenty program managers—each with nuanced priorities. The site blends inspiration and pragmatics together in a user experience that scales flawlessly across devices and promotes this gem of a program at MIT.
